Is My Meds free to use?
Yes. The Basic plan is free and includes medication search, the Summary of Product Characteristics (SmPC), patient leaflets and Public Assessment Reports (PARs). Pro (£9.99 a month or £99.99 a year) adds unlimited AI chat, the interaction checker, reminders with pharmacovigilance alerts and priority support. Every download comes with a two-week free trial.
Where does the medicine information come from?
From official, MHRA-approved product information for medicines sold in the United Kingdom. Our database is refreshed weekly, and every answer links back to the document it came from, so you can check it yourself.
Does My Meds replace my doctor or pharmacist?
No. My Meds helps you understand your medicines, but it isn't medical advice. Always follow the guidance of the healthcare professional who looks after you. In an emergency call 999, or 111 for urgent medical help.
Do you sell my data?
Never. You are not the product. We follow UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, encrypt data in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), and publish our security posture on our Trust Center.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad running iOS 17 or later. An internet connection is needed so the app can bring you the latest official information.
How do I report a side effect?
You can report suspected side effects directly to the MHRA through the Yellow Card scheme. Reporting helps keep medicines safe for everyone.
